Rester

Rester, strength in distribution channels, opens a new showroom reinforcing massage chair leadership

Rester has spent approximately five million THB for a new outlet at Central Plaza RamaII to enhance the image of massage chair leadership as well as assuring better service for customers in suburban areas. Our aim is to improve service and increase the sales volume by approximately 20%. Rester will have 10 outlets across the country within two years.

Mr. Damrong Wongchotpinthong, President of Wong Invention Co., Ltd. (Rester), stated that, in 2008, the company has established marketing activities to support the well-being trend. “One of our strategies is to find new distribution channels to support our customers in product trial and purchasing.

“Nowadays, our products are distributed in different distribution channels such as department stores, Exhibitions and direct sales with Customer Relation Management.” said Mr. Damrong. The company has realized that the trend of well-being has gradually expanded. To enhance the brand image, the company has opened a new Rester Shop for customer convenience. There is a full range of product lines with professional staff who can assist customers for any enquiries. We believe that customers will feel comfortable in trusting in our product under the brand of Rester”, claimed our president.

The first Rester Shop has formally opened on the third floor at Central Plaza RamaII together with many marketing activities to celebrate our tenth anniversary in 2008. There are many promotions such as discount campaigns and complimentary as well as healthcare activities. There will be advice how to select a good massage chair in these activities.

“In addition, it’s obvious that the market for the massage chair will gradually develop by 20-25% thanks to the trend of health consciousness even though the overall economy is slowing down with the adjustment of bank interest rates and the fuel crisis. However, it seems that there is little impact on domestic purchasing. According to our forecast, the overall market for massage chairs may reach 600 million THB by the end of this year and 50% of market share can be occupied by Rester.” said Mr. Damrong. Wong Invention Co., Ltd. has budgeted approximately 50 million THB for 10 new outlets across in the country within 2 years.
