What is the Trading Platform?
The Trading Platform is an on-line trading system developed by thailand.com/exports to allow convenient trading between Thai exporters and global buyers. It is user-friendly and works as other web-based e-mail providers like Yahoo and Hotmail, but is specifically designed for cross-border trade purposes. Buyers can register free. What is the Inquiry Basket?
Inquiry Basket works like a shopping cart. You can add unlimited numbers of products or suppliers to your list and continue searching. Then, you can send all your inquiries at one time.

How do I send inquiries to exporters?
Inquiries can be sent directly to exporters in many ways as follows:

Inquiry Basket - Just click the Inquiry Basket button on the upper right of any pages in Export section, it takes you to your inquiry basket where you can see all lists of your selected products and suppliers. Unsent items will be saved in your basket for 48 hours. If your inquiry basket is still empty, search field is provided including the highlights for top quality products from Thailand. After selecting any items of interest and clicking the Send An Inquiry button, you will be requested to enter the login ID and password. This leads you to view all selected products and suppliers in your inquiry basket where you can choose which items you want to send the same inquiry to. Then click 'Send An Inquiry' to customize the text and press 'Submit' to send the message.

Search Results - Check your interest of products or suppliers in the Search Results page, and click 'Send An Inquiry'. This takes you to the login page where you have to enter the login ID and password. Then the Send An Inquiry page appears to let you complete an inquiry. Press 'Submit' to send the message.

Supplier Storefront - You can send an inquiry while visiting a supplier storefront by clicking 'Send An Inquiry' on any page. Then you are requested to enter the login ID and password. This will lead you to the Send An Inquiry page where you can freely write down an inquiry, then click 'Submit' to send the message.

Or you can click on the e-mail address of the supplier in the Contact Us page of a supplier storefront. By this way, the inquiry will directly be sent to the supplier without passing through the trading platform. Therefore, the negotiation histories cannot be kept.

How to be a buyer?
To register as a thailand.com/exports buyer, please take the following steps:
1. Click Buyer Register Free on the upper left side bar at the thailand.com/exports home page or Register to Buy under the login button on any pages of the Export Section. This takes you to the Account Registration page on thailand.com/exports.
2. Complete all of the fields on the Account Registration page.
3. Press Submit when you are finished.

After you submit your account profile, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail from thailand.com/exports that your profile was successfully sent. This e- mail also confirms your login ID and password, which you have to keep for future reference.

Who is eligible to register as a buyer?
Business people around the world are eligible to register as buyers at Thailand.com/exports.

Benefits for a buyer
As a registered thailand.com/exports buyer, you gain the following benefits:

· Access to products and services posted by credible, qualified suppliers from Thailand.
· A structured negotiation process that allows you to ask questions and negotiate on the products and services you want to buy.
· Access to a supplier's updated products and services by checking an alert mail from thailand.com/exports regularly.
· The ability to send a number of inquiries for several products or suppliers at one time through an inquiry basket.

· The ability to post your products and services on our website, which is viewed by buyers from around the globe.
· Assistance in locating buyers who might be interested in purchasing your products and services.
· The ability to perform convenient trading via an online, easy-to-use Trading Platform.

Can more than one person from my company join?
Yes. Each person will have his or her own Account Profile, Login ID, password, and account.

Will my information be kept private?

Why do I need to choose a security question?
The security question helps protect the personal and financial information in your Account Profile. If you ever forget your password, thailand.com/exports will ask for your security question to confirm your identity.
