is the Trading Platform?
The Trading Platform is an on-line trading system developed by thailand.com/exports
to allow convenient trading between Thai exporters and global buyers.
It is user-friendly and works as other web-based e-mail providers
like Yahoo and Hotmail, but is specifically designed for cross-border
trade purposes. Buyers can register free. Go to Register

What
are the benefits of the Trading Platform?
The Trading Platform can store all records of trade negotiations
and enables you to view negotiation history conveniently. Incoming
buyer inquiries are automatically sent to the supplier's e-mail
address. You just click on the URL Link in your e-mail to log in
and view messages directly. Therefore, you don't need to go thailand.com
everyday, just check your daily e-mail as usual.
How
to Log In?
Go to www.thailand.com/exports.
On the left hand side, you will see the Trading Zone. Enter your
log in ID and password, then click the Go button.
What
do I do if I forget my password?
Click on the "Forgot
your password?" link. You will be requested to enter the
log-in ID and security answer. Your password will later be sent
to you through your given e-mail.
What
is Mail Manager?
Mail Manager is a mail storage system separated into 4 general folders:
Inbox - stores mails from counterparts. For unread messages,
the title of that inquiry subject is shown in bold. You can check
every mail by clicking on each Inquiry Subject.
Sent - stores sent messages
Draft - stores incomplete messages that you want to add more
information before sending to counterparts.
Trash - stores deleted messages from Inbox and Sent
What
are inside Mail Manager Inbox?
The Mail Manager contains all lists of receiving mails, each showing
a counterpart's name, date, ID, inquiry subject, mail status and
stage.
ID - An identification number is assigned to the first incoming mail
from a counterpart and others consequent negotiation correspondences.
As long as the response is made under the previous mail, the ID
number remains the same.
Inquiry Subject - This is derived from the first mail's subject
from a counterpart. By clicking on the title of Inquiry Subject,
you can view the negotiation histories of any inquiry in detail.
Mail Status - The actual status of mail is shown as follows:
1. New - A mail that you have not yet replied to a counterpart.
2. Replied - A mail that you have already viewed details and responded
to a counterpart.
Stage - The progress of negotiation for any inquiry is shown
as follows.
i. Negotiation The transaction is still under the negotiation process.
ii. Partially Accept Offer One party has already accepted the purchase
order.
iii. Accept Offer Both parties have already accepted the purchase
order.
What
is Inquiry Manager?
Inquiry Manager is a mail storage system for series of business
inquiries for each individual transaction between a counterpart
and you. To enhance convenience in mail management, Inquiry Manager
provides 2 folders:
Open
Inquiries - This folder holds all records of all the negotiations
in progress.
Closed Inquiries - If you want to discontinue negotiations
of a specific deal, you may stop the negotiation process in Closed
Inquiries.
You
can manipulate inquiries between Open and Closed Inquiries as desired
by clicking on the appropriate button.
What
are inside the Open and Closed Inquiries pages?
Inside the Inquiries pages are lists of transactions in summary,
which consist of counterpart's name, latest update, ID, inquiry
subject, latest activity and stage.
Latest
Update - The latest date of negotiation between a counterpart
and you.
ID - Several related correspondences under a specific deal
are assigned only one identification number.
Inquiry Subject - Derived from the first mail's subject from
a counterpart. By clicking on Inquiry Subject, you can view the
negotiation histories of any inquiry in detail.
Latest Activity - This helps remind you whether you have
recently received a mail or sent a reply to a counterpart.
Stage - The progress of negotiation for any inquiry.
What
is My Profile?
My Profile is where you can change your password, security question,
security answer and also your own personal and company information.
How
to check a counterpart's inquiry?
After receiving e-mail from the Trading Platform, you have to log
in and check your inbox. In the Inbox page, you can view details
of each inquiry by clicking on the title of Inquiry Subject.
How
to respond to a counterpart's inquiry?
Click on the Respond button at the bottom of the page. In the Response
page, you will see a counterpart's message on the left hand side.
Enter your message freely in the Text Message box on the right.
Product Details and Commercial Terms sections are provided to let
you add further details. After completing all fields, click on the
Submit button at the bottom of the page to send a response to your
counterpart. After sending the response, you have to wait for the
counterpart's reply, which will be automatically sent to you via
e-mail.
How
is the stage of negotiation process tracked?
"Negotiate" is always shown as the stage of negotiation
till a counterpart or you click 'Accept Offer', then the stage will
change to "Partially Accept Offer". If both parties
click on the button to accept dealing terms and conditions, "Accept
Offer" is shown instead.
If I delete all mails in my inbox and
trash, does it affect the details in the Inquiry Manager?
No. All inquiries in Inquiry Manager are safe until you click the
button to clear them.
What
sizes of Mailbox and Inquiry Manager are available?
Presently, there are no size limits for Mailbox and Inquiry Manager
storage, until further notice.
How
long can I keep an inquiry in my mail storage?
One year only.
