as defined under the GATT agreement. MFN treatment of trading partners
is the norm in international trade and depends upon the absence
of any special favors or preferences. Usually only non-market countries
(Vietnam, Cuba, North Korea, etc) lack MFN trade status although
some countries have conditional status subject to periodic review.
