Karen
Living along the full length of the Thai-Burmese border, the Karen are by far the largest of the hill tribe groups.

Inhabiting the lowland valleys, the Karen practice crop rotation, growing rice, vegetables and livestock. The Karen practice animism, Buddhism or Christianity depending on distinct inter-tribal groups.
