Giant Swing
The Giant Swing, standing in front of Wat Sutat, is one of Bangkok's landmark structures.

Young men in ‘floating rafts’ used to swing in higher and higher arcs to try to grab a pouch of money suspended from a bamboo pole. Over the years many were killed or injured and the practice was finally outlawed in the 1930s.
