new version of eTradePioneer (Version 2.0), professional
web tools for international trade, at a launch attended
by over 300 suppliers. |

The
new eTradePioneer allows Chinese suppliers to cost effectively
market to overseas buyers by building and displaying their
own catalogues complete with product, process, and company
information on the Meet World Trade platform. Meet World
Trade (MWT) is Meet China's parent company.
"This is the first time such a product has been marketed
and sold to Chinese exporters wanting to participate in
online cross-border trade. " Gao Qiang, MeetChina's

a service but we've now productized the service and give

first started selling eTP 1.0 last year and already has several
thousand suppliers using the product. This second generation
version includes significant functional and user interface
improvements that will help provide efficient and effective
tools for suppliers to manage their company information and
product catalogs. The 2.0 version also includes easy to use
features for suppliers to create private catalogs for existing
buyers.
China
is the first country in the Meet World Trade network to launch
the new eTradePioneer 2.0. MWT's country partners in Korea
(www.meetkorea), Thailand
(www.thailand.com/meetworldtrade)
and India (www.exportswebex.com)
will all be releasing the new version into their markets starting
this fall.
At
today's launch of eTradePioneer (Version 2.0), MeetChina
joined Meet World Trade in announcing an agreement with
SAPMarkets, Inc. the exchange company of the SAP group,
to provide SAPMarkets customers access to over 30,000
suppliers in the Asia. This agreement also includes MWT's
country affiliates, MeetChina.com, EC 21, Inc in Korea.
(MeetKorea) and Meet World Trade (Thailand).
Buyers using SAPMarkets exchange solutions will be able
to search and negotiate directly with Meet World Trade's
quality suppliers and also utilize offline sourcing expertise
for custom sourcing. |
