The
mainland beaches in Rayong province have great appeal for
Thai families and couples seeking a weekend retreat from the
pressures of city life. There are a number of beaches, including
some designated as national park land, which are quiet but
still have a lot of facilities available for visitors. The
best getaway, enjoyed and acclaimed by Thais and foreigners
alike, is Ko Samet island which is famous for its gorgeous
beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Ko Samet has developed a loyal
following of visitors who return year after year.
