Ar-jad
Ingredients:
2 tbs. sugar
1 tbs. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbs. hot water
1 cup cucumber, peeled and sliced into small pieces
1 small shallot, thinly sliced
1 red fresh chilli, sliced into small rings
 
 

Preparation:

1. Dissolve sugar and salt in hot water. Add vinegar and allow to cool.
2. Place the cucumber, shallot and red fresh chilli in a small serving bowl. Pour the vinegar mixture over these ingredients.

Note : This sauce is a side dish for Moo Satay (Grilled Pork with Curry Peanut Sauce), Gaeng Ga-ree Gai (Yellow Chicken Curry) and Khanom Pang Naa Moo (Deep-fried Minced Pork Toast).
