Welcome \ Travel \ Thai Cuisine

 



Goong Ga-thi Nor Mai Sod
Ingredients:
For 2 servings
4-6 prawns, clean well and remove back vein
100 g. (3 1/2 oz.) bamboo shoots, cut into 5 cm (2 inch) long pieces
1/2 cup coconut milk
50 g. (1 1/2 oz.) twisted cluster beans, remove pods
1 tbs. shrimp paste
1 tbs. fish sauce
1/2 tbs. sugar
2 cups water
 

Preparation:

1. In a pot, bring the coconut milk to a boil. Add prawns and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add twisted cluster beans and bamboo shoots.
3. Season with fish sauce, sugar, and shrimp paste.

Note : Bamboo shoots can be substituted with coconut shoots.
