Welcome \ Travel \ Thai Cuisine

 



Phanaeng Moo
Ingredients:
For 4 servings
500g. (1 lb.) lean pork, sliced
2 tbs. instant red curry paste
1 cup coconut milk, boiled
2 tbs. crushed peanuts
1 tbs. fish sauce
1 tbs. sugar
2 tbs. vegetable oil
mint leaves, for garnishing
 

Preparation:

1. In a frying pan, fry the sliced pork until slightly brown. Set aside.
2. Use the leftover oil in the frying pan to fry the curry paste on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add boiled coconut milk; stir well and add pork. Stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. 4. Add peanuts, fish sauce and sugar for taste. Cook until the pork is thoroughly done.
5. Garnish with mint leaves.

Note : For curry dish, meat should be fried together with curry paste and coconut milk. The meat will be much tenderer. Sugar can be added if desired.
