Welcome \ Travel \ Thai Cuisine

 



Tang Thai Nam Ga-thi
Ingredients:
For 2 servings
1 cup melon, diced or scooped into balls
2 tbs. sweet basil seeds (optional)
1 cup coconut milk
1 1/2 cups water
3 tbs. palm sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 drops jasmine extract crushed ice
 

Preparation:

1. Soak the sweet basil seeds in a cup of water for 30 minutes or until swollen.
2. In a large pot, boil the coconut milk and water. Add palm sugar and salt. This creates sweeten coconut milk.
3. If you wish, drop in the jasmine extract and stir well.
4. Arrange the fruit in a serving dish, and pour the coconut milk over the fruit. Top with crushed ice, and serve immediately.

Note : Brown sugar can be a substitute for palm sugar.
