Kho Kiew - Khao Chompoo Wildlife Conservation District

Chan Ta Then WaterfallThe Kho Kiew - Khao Chompoo Wildlife Conservation district is 7 km from the entrance to the Khao Khieo Open Zoo. Two hiking trails at Nam Tok Chan Ta Then waterfall are very popular year round. One pathway follows close to the five levels of the waterfall and the other diverges into the forest. The Khao Kiew Nature and Wildlife Study Station arranges camping activities for youth groups and nature lovers. The Nam Tok Chan Ta Then waterfall, located in the lush wildlife conservation area, is more than one km in length and is the only significant waterfall in Chonburi province. It is pleasant to visit after the end of the rainy season in mid-0ctober for swimming and picnics.
