Hiking
at Mu Ko Surin National Park
While
Similan has rich varieties of coral and fish species, Surin
is found to be more interesting for hiking and exploring each
islet within the archipelago amid the clear blue sea. Mu Ko
Surin affords several hiking trails. Especially the northern
island is among the loveliest. The karst limestone isles are
lined up with mountain ranges and towering cliffs. Covered
with lush virgin and mangrove forests, numerous bays scattered
around the archipelago offer several viewpoints and picturesque
scenery. Rich in wildlife inhabiting the blossoming jungle,
many rare bird species still can be found residing in the
park.
