Kayaking at Angthong National Marine Park

Sea kayakingAngthong National Marine Park is composed of a group of 40 or so islands with stunning vistas as of a forest full of rock formations. Among the recommended activities are fishing, sea kayaking, and sailing.

Caves in many of the islands have intriguing rock formations. The beaches are surrounded with excellent coral reefs which make for perfect swimming and snorkeling. Hundreds of beaches here in the archipelago are deserted. Get a boat and find your own secret beach away from the crowds.

The best time to visit is from February to May, as both the northeast and the southwest monsoon seasons bring a lot of rain in October to February and May to September. There is accommodation available on Wau Talab Island and tents can be rented for camping within the park.
