Rafting at Khao Sok National Park

Rafing at Khao SokMost visitors are keen to visit the reservoir and nearby Ratchaphrapa Dam offering rafting on Khlong Saeng. Another interesting activity in the park is boating on the streams and in the lake. Highlighted places include Sip Et Chan Waterfall with eleven spectacular stages of fall, Tang Nam pool 6 km from the park office, Bang Hua Raed Waterfall 3 km from the park office and Tan Gloy Waterfall 9 km from the park office.

The park office is 1.3 km off Highway 401 (Surat Thani - Takuapa) at Km 109. Dormitory and camping facilities are available through advance booking for food and lodging. One can make a reservation through the Forestry Department, tel +66 2 579 0529, or 579 4842. Near the area of the park there are privately run bungalows available for tourists.
