Trekking
at Chulaphon Developing Project 8
 Another
place of interest for mountain trekking, Chulaphon Developing
Project 8, is located in Tambon Lampoon, Amphoe Ban Nasahn.
It has been developed by Princess Chulaphon to be a major
attraction for eco-tourism and nature study. Chulaphon Developing
Project 8 occupies over 700 rai in an area of a steep plateau
at the base of forested hills. It is a forest with many varieties
of plants, flowers, butterflies and fruit gardens.
It has a demonstration project of terrace farming for rubber
plantations and a spectacular view within the project. The
area also includes a butterfly garden, flowerbeds and a botanical
plantation with a little ring-path connecting all parts of
the park. The project personnel organize walks on the nature
trail for the visitors to study the tropical nature and the
surrounding settings which resemble northern Thailand's ecosystem.
Companies and organizations can arrange meetings and seminars
at the project office. Chulaphon Developing Project 8 is really
a nice place for rest and relaxation. Camping facilities are
