Trekking at Tai Rom Yen National Park

TrekkingAlong the nature trails there are several scenic spots including spectacular waterfalls: Dat Fa Waterfall, approximately 46 km from Surat Thani, Muang Thuat Waterfall, 20 km from Amphoe Ban Na San and Than Thip Waterfall in Amphoe Wiang Sa.

Dat Fa Waterfall is known as the finest within the area. The waterfall is 100 m high and is made up of twelve tiers where visitors can climb. The tangles of vine create an enchanting spectacle and the most beautiful scenery can be seen at the level known as "Dat Fa Level". Muang Thuat Waterfall is smaller, but its beautiful scenery is comparable. It has nine tiers and is 40 m high. If you wish to stay overnight at the park, you are requested to bring your own camping accessories. For more details, please contact The National Parks Division, Royal Forestry Department.
