Bus
There
are daily buses from Bangkok to Nong Khai, leaving from the
Moh Chit 2 bus station. The trip to Nong Khai takes approximately
10 hours by bus. Buses are offered in 3 classes, the fares

Train
There
is also a train from Bangkok to Nong Khai, which leaves Hua
Lampong Train Station at 7:00 and 8:30 PM. The trip takes
about 12 hours, and berths are available in three classes.

visas can be arranged, as well as transportation to Luang
Prabang.

There
are several options if you are planning to travel by air.
Thai Airways offers daily service to Vientiane, and Lao Aviation
offers flights to Vientiane and Luang Prabang.
