The Great Tak Sin Day and Red Cross Fair is held on the grounds of the provincial sports stadium. This annual event happens from December 28 to January 3. The fair is also a celebration of the New Year. It is lively with various kinds of entertainment spectacles and folk shows. Government and private agencies exhibit their work and policies. There are also stalls selling local products and handicrafts.
