Krabi 

June and November
Chao Le Boat Festival. This unique festival is held by the Chao Le, a nomadic, sea-faring people native to Krabi.

Andaman Sea Festival. This festival opens the peak tourist season in Krabi.

Phangnga

Turtle Release Festival. Wildlife and environment lovers can participate in the Annual Turtle Releasing Festival in Phangnga.

Phuket

Turtle Release Festival. A fascinating event of Phuket aiming to enlarge the number of sea turtles around the island.

Vegetarian Festival. The most remarkable festival with a parade along the streets during which devotees perform amazing feats of self-mortification.

Phuket Travel Festival. Beauty pageants and thrilling water sport contests can be enjoyed at Patong Carnival.

Songkhla 

January
Chinese Lunar festival and Hae Phra Festival. A very colorful and exciting series of festivals which spring from the Chinese roots of many of the local inhabitants.

March
Dove Competition. A competition unlike anywhere else, the contest is held to judge the sweet-sounding melodious voices of the birds.

September
Chinese Moon Festival. Thais of Chinese ancestry make offerings to the moon or Queen of the Heavens in gratitude for past and future fortune. Traditional festivities include lion and dragon dances, lantern procession and contests.

October
Tenth Lunar Month Merit-making Festival. The festival is derived from the belief that during the first to fifteenth day of the tenth waning moon, the souls of the dead are released to meet their relatives.

November
Lak Phra and Tak Bat Devo Festival. A festival celebrated by most Buddhists nationwide to celebrate the end of the rainy season retreat for Buddhist monks, it commemorates an auspicious event in Buddhist legend.

Surat Thani  

August
Rambutan Fair. The Rambutan Fair offers various fun-filled activities that reflect the distinct folk culture of Surat Thani.

October
Chak Phra Festival. The Chak Phra Festival is grandly celebrated in Surat Thani. The fest presents remarkable traditions and religious beliefs of its people.
