By Bus

Orange-colored non air-conditioned buses, operated by the Transport Company (Bo Kho So), run the following daily services:

Bangkok- Prachuab Khiri Khan, hourly from 3.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Prachuab Khiri Khan- Bangkok, hourly from 4.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The fare is 87 baht per person.
Bangkok- Bang Saphan, twice daily at 9.40 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. Bang Saphan- Bangkok twice daily at 5.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. The fare is 108 baht per person.

Air-conditioned coaches
Bus Standard 1A (Blue Color): Daily services leave from Bangkok-Prachuab Khiri Khan from 8.00 am to 1.00 am. Return services leave Prachuab Khiri Khan from 8.30 a.m. to 1.00 a.m. The fare is 157 baht per person.
Bus Standard 1B (Orange Color): Daily services leave from Bangkok- Bang Saphan from 8.00 a.m. to 10.50 p.m. Return services leave Bang Saphan for Bangkok from 7.30 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. The fare is 203 baht per person.
Bus Standard 1B (Orange Color): Daily services leave Bangkok for Hua Hin every 45 minutes from 4.00 am to 10.20 pm and Hua Hin- Bangkok from 3.00 am to 9.00 pm. The fare is 110 baht per person.

By Train

Trains leave Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lampong) for Hua Hin 12 times daily and Prachuab Khiri Khan 9 times daily. Trains include ordinary, rapid, express and special express.

Fares per person for Hua Hin are 202 baht for first class, 102 baht for second class and 44 baht for third class. Fares per person for Prachuab Khiri Khan are 272 baht for first class, 135 baht for second class and 58 baht for third class.

On public holidays, the State Railway of Thailand offers a one-day tour to Hua Hin. Trains depart from Bangkok at 6.30 am, and the fare is 100 baht per person. Tourists need to pay additional fees for tours around Hua Hin.

By Car

From Bangkok, drive for about 3 hours along Highway 35 (Thon Buri-Pak Thor) via Samut Songkhram then fork to the left on Highway No. 4 (Phetkasem Road) via Phetchaburi and Hua Hin to get to Prachuab Khiri Khan. The total distance is 281 km.

Another route might be taken from Bangkok via Buddhamonthon, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi and Prachuab Khiri Khan. The total distance for this route is 320 km and takes about 4 hours.
