By Train
Trains
leave Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lampong) for Hua Hin 12
times daily and Prachuab Khiri Khan 9 times daily. Trains
include ordinary, rapid, express and special express.
Fares per person for Hua Hin
are 202 baht for first class, 102 baht for second class and
44 baht for third class. Fares per person for Prachuab Khiri
Khan are 272 baht for first class, 135 baht for second class
and 58 baht for third class.
On public holidays, the State
Railway of Thailand offers a one-day tour to Hua Hin. Trains
depart from Bangkok at 6.30 am, and the fare is 100 baht per
person. Tourists need to pay additional fees for tours around
Hua Hin.

By Car
From
Bangkok, drive for about 3 hours along Highway 35 (Thon Buri-Pak
Thor) via Samut Songkhram then fork to the left on Highway
No. 4 (Phetkasem Road) via Phetchaburi and Hua Hin to get
to Prachuab Khiri Khan. The total distance is 281 km.
Another route might be taken
from Bangkok via Buddhamonthon, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi
and Prachuab Khiri Khan. The total distance for this route
is 320 km and takes about 4 hours.
