 Taking
an evening stroll around Kanchanaburi is probably the best
way to get to know this peaceful town. Motorized transport
includes songthaews, which cost just 5 baht for a short ride,
and motorcycles, which are similarly priced. The ferry across
the river costs 5 baht per person. Some guesthouses in town
also rent out motorcycles and bicycles for the day.
