Getting Around

Around Muang Sukhothai, visitors can take a samlor ride that shouldn't cost more than 30 baht. Between Muang Sukhothai and Sukhothai Historical Park, there are Songthaews available frequently, leaving from Yom River on Charot Withithong Road. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to reach the park. The fare is 5 -10 baht. At the park, there is a tram service operating through the old city for 20 baht per person. Sometimes, the local people offer bullock cart rides.

However, one of the best way to get around Sukhothai Historical Park is by bike. Bicycles can be rented at the shops outside the park entrance for 20 baht per day.
