Wat Phra Narai Maharat

This extremely old temple is perhaps the most significant in Nakorn Ratchasima, as it contains both an ancient Khmer sculpture of Phra Narai, the Hindu god Vishnu and the pillar of the city. The Phra Narai is considered to be the most sacred object in Nakorn Ratchasima.

This temple is located on Prachak Road, in the eastern section of the town, and can be reached by motorcycle or songthaew.
