Wat Sala Loi

Sala Loi TempleThis temple is one of the most interesting in the area and has won architectural awards for its dramatic, modern design. Situated on the banks of the Lam Takhong River, this impressive temple contains the ashes of Khun Ying Mo, the local heroine who saved Nakorn Ratchasima from Lao invaders in the early 19th century.

This temple can be reached by motorcycle or songthaew and is located in the northeast section of town.
