Phra Chedi Klang Nam

Phra Chedi Klang NamThe bell-like Chedi (Pagoda) is over ten m high and is located in Wat Samut Khongka or Park Nam. Set on an islet at the mouth of the Rayong River, the ancient structure is only two km from town center. Built when the main transportation in Rayong was waterborne, the pagoda was the signal of arrival in the province. There is an annual celebration held during the twelfth lunar month or November. The highlight is the exciting boat races.
