Wat Saranat Thammaram

Chinnarat Buddha in PhitsanulokWat Saranat Thammaram is an interesting spot for art and architecture enthusiasts. Located in the market of Klaeng town, the temple was built in 1945. The temple's major and highly revered Buddha image is a reproduction of the Chinnarat Buddha, which is one of the most magnificent and respected Buddha images in Phitsanulok and in Thailand. In the very impressive structure of the wat's ubosot is found one of the most beautiful ordination halls in the East of Thailand. The Ubosot also enshrines the Relic of the Buddha. Around the sacred compound visitors can find replicas of many renowned Buddhist chedis (pagodas) from all over Thailand.
