Wat
Chaimongkhon
The temple
has a reclining Buddha image protected behind glass and there
is a holy relic of the Lord Buddha from Sri Lanka hidden in
the golden chedi. It is not always possible to get access
to the Wat, which is located near the Songkhla Railway Station,
but visitors can admire the monastery's distinctive viharn,
or assembly hall.
