an abundance of mountains, forests, streams and valleys, Chiang
Mai province has much to offer in the way of nature and natural
attractions. An almost countless number of waterfalls, caves,
mountain peaks and national parks can be found on the provincial
capital's immediate doorstep or within a very reasonable distance
from the city center. Each year, an ever-increasing number
of visitors come to Chiang Mai province in search of the natural

Park in Chiang Mai province. It is home to over three hundred
species of birds as well as being home to the highest mountain
in Thailand.
