Nam Tok Chan Ta Then

Chan Ta Then WaterfallThe Nam Tok Chan Ta Then waterfall is 7 km from the entrance to the Khao Khieo Open Zoo. Located in the Kho Kiew - Khao Chompoo Wildlife Conservation district, a lush wildlife conservation area, it is more than one km in length and is the only significant waterfall in Chonburi province. It is pleasant to visit after the end of the rainy season in mid-0ctober for swimming and picnics. In the dry season, from January to April, there is less water in the stream but the two hiking trails are very popular year round. One pathway follows close to the five levels of the waterfall and the other diverges into the forest. The Khao Kiew Nature and Wildlife Study Station arranges camping activities for youth groups and nature lovers.
