Khao Pun Cave

Wat Tham Khao Pun, one of Kanchanaburi's cave temples, is situated about a kilometer from the Chong-Kai War Cemetary. The cave is home to a number of Buddha images in various styles, as well as some attractive stalactites and stalagmites. The path through the forest to get to the temple is a pleasant up-hill walk from the cemetery.

To get to the cemetery, take a ferry across the Mae Klong, close to the confluence of the three rivers, and then travel south through the sugar cane fields. The cemetery is situated on the left.
