Lam Takhong Dam

This large dam, located on Highway 2, 62 km before the town of Nakhon Ratchasima, was finished in 1968, creating an enormous reservoir. During the rainy season this reservoir can contain in excess of 300,000,000 cubic m of water. This reservoir is generally used for irrigation purposes and services a large portion of the region's rice paddies.
