Than
Thong Waterfall
Located
85 km outside of the town of Nong Khai, this small waterfall
is located along one of Nong Khai's most scenic roads, the
Nong Khai-Sri Chiang Mai route, which parallels the Mekong
River. Even though this waterfall is quite small in size,
its juncture with the Mekong is rather pretty, and offers
some very nice views of the river. This waterfall is extremely
accessible, however, can get rather crowded.
Than
Thong Waterfall can be reached by bus or car, from the town
of Nong Khai.
