Thai Muang National Park: Stretching some 13 km, Thai Muang is a clean sandy beach with transparent water making a nice spot for swimming. The hillside sandy beach is a secure place where sea turtles come to lay their eggs during November and February every year. There is commencing a tradition of observing turtles laying their eggs on moonlit nights on the beach. The turtle releasing festival called 'Turtle Waling Tradition' is celebrated after the egg laying season ends.

Thai Muang Beach lies in the district of Thai Muang Sanitary area. You can get there on the asphalt road around 1.5 km and turn right to access the beach road then another 5 kms will lead you to the national park office. The long strip of white sands runs parallel to the highway.

Thai Muang was announced as a national park on April 14, 1986. Its verdant and rich tropical forest occupies the area of some 45,000 rai. Thai Muang memorializes the end of the mining business in the district. It was formerly one of the great reservoirs of tin in the world. The mining of tin has stopped, but some traces of the production of ore are left.

For accommodations in the area of the national park, contact the National Park Division, Forestry Department, Tel: +66 2 579-0529, 579-4842.

Nam Tok Lampi: Nam Tok Lampi is a medium sized falls. It encompasses three levels and each of the levels is about 100 meters high. The fall flows all year round even during the dry season but it is more dramatic to go there during the rainy season. It is located in Thai Muang District. A pleasant drive along highway no 4, Nam Tok Lampi is situated between km 32-39.

Nam Tok Ton Phrai: Nam Tok Ton Phrai is a large waterfall and can be reached only on foot. The water in the fall flows all year round. A trip to see this waterfall should be made during dry season as the hike to the falls is most enjoyable. One can take Petchkasem Rd. and turn left at km 28-29 for a further 7 km, then continue on foot almost a km to reach the waterfall.
