Phung Chang Cave

Phung Chang Cave is situated on Chang Mountain. Khao Chang or Elephant Mountain lies behind the provincial prison. A huge hill with a shape resembling a kneeling elephant, Khao Chang is Phangnga's landmark.

Tham Phung Chang or 'Elephant Belly Cave' is located within the grounds of Prapaht Prajimkhet Temple behind the provincial hall. The gorgeous cave houses replicas of famous Buddha images. It is also famous for its strange stalactite and stalagmite formations dripping with water that runs year round.

Phung Chang Cave is located in Muang Phangnga provincial town. In front of Phangnga Market one can take a 500 m asphalt road to Wat Praphat Prajimkhet and walk toward the cave.
