Snaking
more than 200 km along the western seaboard of the Gulf of
Thailand, the long thin province of Prachuab Khiri Khan is
rich in natural shoreline habitat and densely forested mountains.
The
watershed forests of the Tanwsri hills along the Thai-Burmese
border give rise to spectacular waterfalls while the limestone
geology of the province has created a number of fascinating
caves, with their crystal-like mineral formations. The province's
combination of shoreline and forested highland is guaranteed
to attract both naturalist and pleasure-seeker alike.
