Ratchaprapha
or Chieo Lan Dam
Ratchaprapha
or Chieo Lan Dam is really worth visiting for spectacular
vistas of the natural beauty and tranquility. It is a place
where you can get away from it all. It's a rock and clay dam
90 m high and 761 m long. Very breathtaking scenery can be
spotted from the wide-spreading lake amid the Ratchaprapha
Dam.
Its
function as a dam covers an area of 6 valleys including
one part on the left of the Tapi River and 5 parts on the
right side at Amphoe Ban Chieo Lan, Kao Pung. The very beautiful
site also offers a 9 hole golf course with the full range
of facilities.
Ratchaprapha
Dam is located some 82 km from the provincial capital through
highway 401, then a right turn between km 52 and 53 and another
12 km along an access road. Accommodation is provided near
the dam. For further details, please contact the Electricity
