Rom Yen National Park occupies the forest area of 133,125
rai of Khlong Nam Thao Reserve in Amphoe Ban Na San and Amphoe
Wiang Sa. Once the Communist Party of Thailand established
their base at a mountain within the park, known as Khao Chong
Chang.
Tai
Rom Yen National Park contains lush forest areas with a considerable
variety of plant and animal species. On the nature trails
there are several scenic tourist spots including two spectacular
waterfalls: Dat Fa Waterfall, approximately 46 km from Surat
Thani and Muang Thuat Waterfall, 20 km from Amphoe Ban Na
San.
If
you wish to stay overnight at the park, you are requested
