bars in one, the Candy Store has a small front bar that opens
in the early afternoon and a medium sized go-go bar that sizzles
from 8 pm until 2 pm. The cool front bar is a good place to
escape Bangkok's afternoon heat and humidity. You can relax
with a beer and buy a lady drink for any of the hostesses
who happen to be around. Later in the evening you can go up
the steps to the dimly lit go-go section where the girls,
wearing bikinis (usually), gyrate to a pounding beat. If you
like what you see the bar fine is about 600 baht, and the
management knows where you can rent short time accommodations
(around the corner and up the stairs). The price of a beer
is the same (90 baht) although the atmosphere isn't as upbeat
as at Rock Hard or Hollywood East, and the girls aren't quite
as pretty and vivacious, but the Candy Store does have a few
very sweet confections on offer.
