What
were they smoking when they dreamed up the theme for this
go-go bar? The mural decorating the outside is meant to make
it look like the walls are fractured. Inside, everything,
including the bar, the stage, the chairs and tables, is either
cracked or meant to look as if it is.
The
Crack House has a reputation for attracting katoeys, also
known as ladyboys or transvestites, and those who enjoy them.
The go-go dancers put on a great show, whatever their gender.
The bar fine for picking up one of these 'ladies' for the
evening is the same as one would pay for the real thing, about
600 baht. The Crack House is smaller than some of the other
go-go bars in Clinton Plaza. It charges the same price for
a beer: 90 baht. There is no happy hour, as it doesnt really
get going until about 7 pm. It closes at 2 am.
