The
Cosmos is a lounge bar situated on Patpong Soi 2, opposite
Foodland Supermarket. Mainly locals rather than tourists frequent
the bar, with a roughly even split between expat 'farangs'
and Thais. It is one of the few places along Patpong that
Thai drinkers have made their 'local'.
Cosmos
is slightly unusual in being fitted totally in dark wood,
the floor, walls, ceiling and the rectangular bar in the center.
Draft beers are available on tap here. Have a go at darts
if you're feeling lucky but be warned, the girls are no pushover.
Cosmos
has no go-go dancers, nor blaring music, and the hostesses
tend to be less pushy than many of the other bars on Patpong.
The place opens from 10 am through to 3 am, and beer prices
are around 75-90 baht for a small bottle, depending on the
brand.
