Renoir
Club is one of the most established, most exclusive and most
expensive of the artist bars on Soi 33. It is set back from
the street and has a small courtyard in front where you can
sit and get a very good meal of Thai or continental food.
Inside you will find scores of shapely, graceful women decked
out in formal evening gowns. They are more than friendly,
and perhaps a little too aggressive in trying to get the patrons
to buy them the obligatory lady drink. Since drinks cost nearly
200 baht, Renoir is a club best visited when you are dining
out on your expense account.
The
club is favored by some of Bangkok's most high-powered executives,
Thai and expat alike, who meet there to make the deals that
will make them even richer. They can rest assured that their
every need will be instantly attended to, and that the staff
has the utmost discretion. If you can afford it, Renoir is
definitely worth a visit.
