Vincent Van Gogh Club

Van Gogh is the first artist bar on the right as you walk down Soi 33 from Sukhumvit Road. After dark you will usually find two or three young ladies in low-cut cocktail dresses sitting at the table in front who will be happy to have you buy them a drink. Inside the club is sparsely decorated except for the presence of a dozen or more well dressed women wearing lots of make up. Some are very attractive and all are reasonably friendly. If you decide to buy a lady drink for one of them, expect to spend about 150 baht, the same price you will pay for a beer. If you want to have a date with one of the girls you will have to pay the manager a bar fine of more than 1,000 baht. Your arrangement with the hostess of your choice is negotiated directly with her.
