Beautiful
girls, laughing and giggling, will surround you as you walk
down Soi Cowboy and urge you to try the Midnite Bar. Later
you will figure out that one of the girls is actually a boy,
but he is just as pretty and charming as the others. Inside
it takes a minute for the eyes to adjust to the dim light.
When they do one can't help but see that the cozy little bar
is dominated by a stage where a girl is dancing suggestively.
The girls who brought you in also bring you a drink and they
are very attentive, but not pushy. If you just want to have
a drink and soak in the visuals no one would object or be
in the least bothered, especially if you splash out on a couple
of 'lady drinks' for the girls.
On
the other hand, if you want to enjoy the favors of the one
of the charming hostesses, that can also be arranged, either
in a private room on the premises, or elsewhere. The owner,
an attractive Thai woman with a smile that makes you feel
welcome, seems to take an almost parental interest in the
girls. She pays for an English teacher for the charming hostesses,
as well as for monthly STD testing. The Midnite Bar is a good
example of the relaxed atmosphere of Soi Cowboy. It's easy
to understand how it attracts a large number of regular patrons
in addition to the usual flow of tourists. It's no wonder
Soi Cowboy has a reputation as the most laid back of the red
light districts in the City of Angels.
