Travel Q&A

Welcome \ Travel \ Overview

Phangnga, now well known among the nature lovers who long for undisturbed, peaceful beaches and rolling waves, is encircled by hundreds of islands in the magnificent Andaman Sea. Here in every step that you take you can discover more than 3,000 years of a rich history since the prehistoric age hidden in every grain of sand along its shores. Located just northeast of Phuket, this expansive, turquoise extension of the Andaman Sea is dotted with hundreds of islands, many mere limestone outcrops that seem to erupt from the sea. At some islands small boats can enter partially submerged grottoes during low tide. Other islands are encircled by sandy coves where the only visible inhabitants are the swifts which build their nests on high cliffs.
