 The
provincial administration is divided into 12 districts (Amphoes)
: Muang, Chiang Khan, Dan Sai, Na Duang, Na Haeo, Pak Chom,
Pha Khao, Phu Kradung, Phu Luang, Phu Rua,Tha Li, and Wang
Saphung.
Based on 1996 records, Loei’s
GPP per capita was 27,186 baht, ranked the 60th in the country.
The Gross Provincial Product (GPP) mainly relies on agriculture
29.17% (4,544 million baht) followed by the wholesale and
retail sector 17.85% (2,781million baht) and the service sector
16.83% (2,621 million baht).
The main revenue for the province
is generated by rice, corn, sugar cane, potato, chili, rubber
and fruit plantations.
