National Library

Thailand's National Library is situated on Samsen Road in Thewet District. The library maintains an extensive collection of Thai books and literature, both ancient and modern, as well as a smaller selection of foreign-language books. The main Vajirayan Building houses stone inscriptions and scripture cabinets. Other sections include the Thun Boriphat Music Library and the ancient archives room. Documentary projections, discussions and exhibitions are held from time to time. The library also offers a data search service

The library is open daily to the public from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm, except for national holidays. Admission is free. To contact the National Library, call +66 2 281-5313, 281-5212. See National Library on the Map
