Museum
The
Prasart (Palace) Museum, located in an eastern suburb of the
city, houses an extensive collection of artifacts from prehistoric
times through the Ratanakosin era. Various styles of architecture
are represented, including imitations of the Red Palace in
the National Museum and the Rama I period Wat Yai Suwannaram
on Thonburi's Bangkok Noi Canal.
The
Prasart Museum is open from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on Fridays
to Sundays. Groups may also visit on other days, by prior
arrangement. Admission is 300 baht per person, which includes
snacks and beverages. The museum is located at 9 Soi Krungthepkreetha
4, Srinakarin Road, Prakanong District. For further information,
