Boating
along the Mekong River (Golden Triangle)
There
are several tour companies that offer visitors the chance
to take exciting and adventurous boat trips along the Mekong
River. Such trips will normally involve taking visitors to
view the neighboring countries of Laos, Myanmar and even Yunnan
province in Southern China. Visitors should note that most
trips must be arranged through official tour companies although
there are also a number of private operators of long-tail
boats as well as speedboats that are happy to negotiate a
custom trip.
